Open Swim
It’s time for an open swim! Everyone gets to participate. Just on the off-chance that someone besides my family reads my blog, because I know my family does.
I’d like to get to know all of you, and I’m sure anyone else who reads my blog would love to get to know you too! I stole this shamelessly from my friend Alece, but I thought it was a great idea. I would love to get to know you be able to write things that apply to all of you. So thanks in advance.

I read your blog, well that is when I catch it in my twitter stream.
10 words to describe me:
20 something looking to be connected and connect others in community
(I didn't count the number)
Kyle, thanks for commenting. I've been reading on the Mentor Me Project lately. Thanks for everything you're doing to connect others. I'm glad you read when you catch it. Thanks!
Hi. I stumbled across your blog back when I was searching twitter for reviews on Donald Miller's A Million Miles in a Thousand Years.
Me = spunky, artistic, nurturing, extroverted, indecisive, slightly-stubborn & not-a-morning-person, Hawaiian, woman of God. (Sorry… I think that was quite a bit more than 10 words.)
Amy,
Thanks so much for reading! I really loved A Million Miles and I was super excited to get and review it. I'll take more than 10 words! I wouldn't say I'm a morning person, I'd much rather sleep in, but I really like watching a good sunrise too!
You’re welcome. Thanks for what you write! I enjoy your blogs, so I continue to lurk. Sorry I’ve never commented on anything until now.
After reading your review and a few others I did end up getting the book, which I think I read in practically one sitting… Loved it!
That was actually a bit of a challenge for me… But fun. And yes, I have to agree with you – I love getting to sleep in, but depending on the location and conditions, a good sunrise is totally worth it. I’d have to saw my favorite sunrise location was probably Kauai – (sunrises look better when you’re eating toast with guava jelly and drinking a cold glass of POG juice!).
Thanks for the grace regarding more than 10 words.
I’ll stop rambling now. Anywho, thanks for the sweet bloggity goodness you put out there. I do enjoy it (and it makes me wish I had a better blog).
quiet, loud
teacher, learner
faithful, fearful
laughter, tears
failure, grace
i just can't see you being loud.
haha. thanks for commenting, it really means a lot to me!
really!? ummm… you should ask my best friend about how loud i can get! ha!
does that mean i come across like i'm serious all the time?! yikes.
Hey! I have just read a few posts now that we are fb friends. And I really enjoyed your post about Captivating too! I think that I am a Christian, a friend, opinionated, but a listener as well, driven, also not a morning person, a coffee lover, ammeture chef, love to read, and a teacher!
I'm really glad you enjoy reading. I wasn't sure how the Captivating post would go over, but I haven't gotten any hate mail, so I should be ok.
Thanks for commenting!
